BlackRock strategist: Stablecoin regulations may support the US dollar.

In a report, BlackRock strategists stated that the new stablecoin regulatory legislation in the United States may help strengthen the dominance of the US dollar. Earlier this month, US President Trump signed the "Genius Act," which aims to establish a regulatory framework for stablecoins. The strategists pointed out, "This regulation is expected to further consolidate the dominance of the US dollar by creating an international payment ecosystem based on tokenized dollars." They also noted that for users in emerging markets, stablecoins will provide a more convenient way to access dollars compared to their own volatile currencies.
