The inspection guidance team of the Ministry of Transport found 83 problems and hidden dangers during their investigation in Liaoning.

Recently, the inspection and guidance team of the Ministry of Transport's 7th team went to Liaoning Province to carry out guidance work on the inspection and rectification of major risks in traffic safety production during the flood season and summer. The inspection and guidance team visited 5 cities including Dalian, Yingkou, Dandong, Anshan, and Jinzhou, and conducted verification checks on 26 units and 7 highway and waterway construction projects, discovering a total of 83 hidden problems, with 1 prominent issue. On June 25th, the inspection and guidance team found that the construction safety management issues were prominent at the construction site of the West Gang Railway Separated Overpass of the in-progress highway crossing the Shenjin Railway. The construction of the top push and the assembly support steel pipes were processed and installed on site without passing acceptance inspection. Some steel pipe joints were missing flanges and the steel pipes were partially deformed and damaged, affecting the load-bearing capacity of the support. At the same time, some of the top push support steel pipes at the bottom were connected with embedded parts using angle welds instead of using embedded anchor bolt double nut anchoring, posing a risk of overturning during the top push construction of the steel truss beam.
