Alibaba Cloud Vice President Ye Jieping: We are entering the "Agent First" era.

The World Artificial Intelligence Conference 2025 will be held in Shanghai from July 26th to July 28th. At the "Open Source and Openness: Alibaba Cloud Agent Application Ecology Forum" held on July 27th, Ye Jieping, Vice President of Alibaba Cloud and Head of Big Data and Intelligence Laboratory, stated that 2025 is the year when Agent will be implemented on a large scale. Enterprise-level intelligent entities will break through the limitations of the dialogue layer and establish the foundation of automated complex task by integrating "perception-decision-execution" architecture, promoting the transition of AI from an enhanced search version to an autonomous service carrier. The industry ecology is approaching a turning point. "We are entering the era of 'Agent First', where the interaction mode shifts from humans adapting to machines to machines understanding and actively serving humans. The core is the ability of Agents to autonomously complete complex tasks, evolve continuously from interactions. When L3 intelligent entities become the industrial base, we will witness an exponential productivity revolution driven by emerging intelligent and ecologically self-organizing forces," said Ye Jieping.
