The Beijing Municipal Agriculture and Rural Bureau issued a warning on July 27th. According to the city's meteorological department: it is expected that from the afternoon of the 27th to the morning of the 28th, in most areas of our city, the hourly rainfall intensity can reach over 30 millimeters, with some areas in Yanqing, Huairou, Miyun, Pinggu, Shunyi, Changping, Mentougou, Fangshan, Haidian, Shijingshan, etc. with hourly rainfall intensity over 50 millimeters, with cumulative rainfall of over 70 millimeters in 6 hours, and some points may accumulate over 100 millimeters. Secondary disasters such as mountain torrents, debris flows, and landslides may occur in mountainous and foothill areas, and water accumulation may occur in low-lying areas. The agricultural meteorological disaster risk assessment from the 27th to the 29th shows: due to the impact of precipitation in the coming days, most areas of our city face a high-level risk of waterlogging in crops, with parts of the western Yanqing, western Changping, most of Tongzhou and parts of Miyun facing a moderate-level risk of waterlogging in crops.
