In the early morning of July 27th, Beijing's Yanqing, Huairou, and Miyun districts each upgraded to issue red rainstorm warnings, while Beijing's hydrological bureau upgraded to issue a red flood warning. Heavy rainfall triggered floods and landslides in several villages in Beijing. After the disaster occurred, insurance institutions, under the guidance of the Beijing Financial Supervision Bureau, immediately activated their major disaster emergency plans, established emergency work teams to coordinate and dispatch claims and rescue work, and fully cooperated with the local party committee, government, and relevant departments in their rescue work arrangements. It is understood that as of the morning of the 27th, PICC Property and Casualty Beijing Branch had received over 200 claims from this round of heavy rain, involving various personal insurances such as car insurance, property insurance, and agricultural insurance. As of 5 pm on the 27th, Ping An Property and Casualty Beijing Branch had received a total of 158 claims for flooded cars and 7 claims for non-car-related rainstorm damage.
