On July 15, Shandong Heavy Industry Weichai Power signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Feicheng People's Government, Weichai New Energy Power Technology Co., Ltd. and Shandong Lingyisi Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. in Feicheng, Tai'an. According to the agreement, Weichai Power, Feicheng City, Weichai New Energy Technology Company and Lingyisi Technology Company will jointly promote the research and development of key technologies such as sodium-ion advanced materials, battery cells, and battery systems, accelerating the large-scale application of sodium-ion batteries in commercial vehicles, energy storage, and other fields.
