Chen Wenqing attended the opening ceremony of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum - Rule of Law Forum and conducted research in Hunan.

The China-Africa Forum on Legal Governance opened in Changsha, Hunan on the 11th. The theme of the forum is "Deepening Economic and Trade Legal Cooperation, Building a High-level China-Africa Community of Shared Future." Chen Wenqing, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Chen Wenqing pointed out that at the 2024 China-Africa Forum Beijing Summit, President Xi Jinping proposed the goal and "Ten Major Partner Actions" for China and Africa to jointly promote modernization, opening a new chapter in the construction of a comprehensive China-Africa community of shared future in the new era, and pointing the direction for deepening China-Africa cooperation. Under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and African leaders, the legal community of China and Africa, holding a common pursuit of the value of the rule of law, has carried out practical and efficient exchanges and cooperation, contributing to enhancing mutual trust, jointly achieving modernization for both China and Africa. Chen Wenqing stated that China is willing to work together with countries in Africa to implement the results of the Beijing Summit of the China-Africa Forum, conduct multi-level and all-round legal exchanges, consolidate legal consensus, and jointly promote modernization; implement global development initiatives, global security initiatives, and global civilization initiatives, uphold the rule of law concept, firmly uphold fairness and justice; promote legal coordination, rule coordination, and standard coordination, improve the legal system, create a favorable development environment, and ensure high-level legal cooperation to guarantee high-quality economic and trade cooperation between China and Africa; adhere to a common, comprehensive, cooperative, and sustainable security concept, strengthen law enforcement and judicial cooperation, vigorously safeguard common interests, and inject legal power into the construction of a new era China-Africa community of shared future.
