Journalists learned from the Xinjiang Traffic Police Headquarters that last night, a rockfall occurred at 637+10 meters on the Du-Ku Highway, and a mudslide occurred at 656+700 meters. Local road departments are clearing the affected sections. Today, there is continuous rainfall in the northern section of the Du-Ku Highway, increasing the risk of rockfalls and mudslides. The traffic police department has implemented two-way traffic control on the section of the Du-Ku Highway from Jueerma to Dushanzi, and traffic control from Nalati to Jueerma. The traffic police department reminds tourists to adjust their travel plans in a timely manner to avoid delays, and will notify them promptly when the road is safe for passage.
