Three Gorges Water Conservancy disclosed its performance forecast on the evening of July 11th, with the company expected to achieve a net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company of 40 million to 52 million in the first half of 2025, a decrease of 77.30% to 82.54% year-on-year. The main reason for the change in performance this period is due to the net profit of the company's power business in January to June 2025 decreasing by approximately 71 million yuan year-on-year. The company's wholly-owned subsidiaries, Chongqing Baitao Chemical Industrial Park Power Co., Ltd. and Chongqing Wujiang Zhengyang Power Supply Co., Ltd., made retroactive payments of preferential income tax for western development enterprises enjoyed during the period from 2021 to 2023, along with overdue fines, resulting in a reduction of approximately 47 million yuan in profit.
