On July 8th, Sony announced that they have temporarily halted the shipment and store sales of their latest smartphone Xperia 1 VII due to issues such as unexpected shutdowns, reboots, or inability to turn on in some models. Sony is currently investigating the cause of the power issue and advises users to back up all necessary data during this period.
