Sony is currently investigating the cause of the power issue and advises users to back up all necessary data during this period. The SIM-free version of this smartphone, which was just released last month and had a retail price of 204,600 yen (approximately $1,400) at Sony's official store, is being affected. Last week, Japanese mobile carriers NTT Docomo and KDDI also announced the suspension of sales for Xperia 1 VII. Currently, Sony has halted sales in countries such as Japan and Singapore.
