On July 2nd, the Fujian Provincial Ocean and Fisheries Bureau held an expanded meeting of the party group to convey and study the important speech spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping at the sixth meeting of the Central Financial and Economic Commission, and to discuss the implementation measures for promoting high-quality development of the marine economy. The meeting emphasized the release of a series of important policy measures that lead the industry, and the formation of landmark achievements in high-quality development; it is necessary to adhere to the overall "one game" layout of the province, formulate an implementation plan to accelerate the construction of "Marine Fujian", promote the establishment of a coordinated mechanism for the construction of a strong marine province and a national demonstration zone for the development of marine economy, deepen the mechanism of provincial and ministerial cooperation, pay more attention to the synergy process, and regularly study the promotion of major marine policies, major tasks, and key works; speed up the introduction of a new round of high-quality development policies and measures for ocean fishing, promote the stable development of ocean fishing, actively participate in international fishery governance, and enhance international discourse power.
