Chongqing completes the first batch of value transformation transactions of eco-products for soil and water conservation.

Recently, the first batch of ecological products value transformation trading centralized licensing event was held at the Chongqing Water Resources Bureau. 6 small watersheds completed trading of soil and water conservation ecological products, with a transaction amount of 2.34 billion yuan. The first batch of trading projects include Shengtian Lake in Beibei District, Sanxi Sanmei in Qijiang District, Jinhua in Nanchuan District, Yangliutang in Wulong District, Paishan in Chengkou County, and Xinglongao in Xiushan County. It is reported that since the 14th Five-Year Plan, Chongqing has treated a total of 6,829 square kilometers of soil erosion. While accelerating the treatment of soil erosion, Chongqing actively promotes the transformation of the value of soil and water conservation ecological products, efficiently realizing the ecological product value inherent in the "green mountains and clear waters". The Chongqing Water Resources Bureau has conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the soil and water conservation ecological functions of 4,208 small watersheds in the city, established 160 reserve projects, and estimated a value of over 8 billion yuan.
