Liu, Deputy Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, met with Hungarian Minister of National Economy Naj and signed a cooperation agreement on artificial intelligence between China and Hungary.

Liu Su, Deputy Director of the National Development and Reform Commission of China, met with Hungarian Minister of National Economy Nagy during his visit to China, and the two sides exchanged views on cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence, joint construction of the "Belt and Road," and infrastructure. Liu Su stated that China, as an important force in global artificial intelligence development, adheres to the development and governance concept of "people-oriented, intelligent goodness," and has continuously promoted the "AI+" action with positive results. China is willing to exchange and cooperate with Hungary in areas such as artificial intelligence technology, governance and regulation, application empowerment, policy coordination, and mutual recognition of standards, in order to promote the benevolent development of artificial intelligence and benefit the peoples of both countries. Nagy mentioned that Hungary and China have carried out extensive cooperation in infrastructure interconnection and new energy industry development, with fruitful results. Hungary is willing to strengthen exchanges with China in the development of artificial intelligence, providing a good reference for the development and governance of artificial intelligence in Hungary. After the meeting, the two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Deepening Cooperation in Artificial Intelligence between the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of National Economy of Hungary.
