Wisdom Financial APP news, Hainan Rubber (601118.SH) announced that the center of the first typhoon "Butterfly" in 2025 (strong tropical storm level) recently landed in Baituozhen, Dongfang City, Hainan Province, with maximum wind force near the center reaching level 11 (30 meters/second) at the time of landing. Before the arrival of the typhoon, the company had activated the emergency response plan, fully deployed various flood prevention and wind protection measures. Due to the strong winds and heavy rain brought by the typhoon, some subsidiaries of the company in Hainan Province suffered various degrees of losses to rubber and other biotic assets, as well as fixed assets such as production facilities, with no casualties. Preliminary statistics show that approximately 350,000 plants of rubber and other biotic assets such as non-rubber and protective forests were affected (including mature trees and young saplings), with an expected annual decrease in dry rubber production of about 26,000 tons. After the typhoon passed, the company quickly organized personnel to conduct safety hazard inspections and post-disaster recovery work, clearing rubber plantation roads, straightening and reinforcing fallen rubber trees to restore production operations as soon as possible and minimize the losses caused by the disaster. Currently, all affected subsidiaries have resumed production operations.
