According to sources, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a five-hour meeting with his senior officials that lasted until the US attack on Iran's nuclear facilities. The Security Cabinet meeting began at 3 am Beijing time and continued until the airstrikes were launched at 8 am Beijing time. Sources said the meeting ended after the US airstrikes. Another source previously revealed that Israel convened a Security Cabinet meeting to oversee the US bombing mission. The meeting consisted of senior officials involved in Israel's handling of the Iran issue, including some of the closest officials to Netanyahu. Netanyahu's close friend Ron Dermer, Defense Minister Israel Katz, and Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar also attended the meeting. The Israeli Chief of Staff and the head of the Mossad spy agency were also present at the meeting. Extreme right-wing Minister of Public Security Itamar Ben-Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich also attended the meeting.
