This includes the establishment of Ningbo Oriental University of Science and Technology, located in Zhejiang Province, with a private educational nature. On June 22nd, Ningbo Oriental University of Science and Technology released the enrollment regulations for ordinary universities in 2025 through its official WeChat public account. In 2025, the university will enroll students in the field of Computer Science and Technology, which includes majors such as Computer Science and Technology, Electronic Science and Technology, Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering, and Fundamental Mathematics and Science. In the first year, there will be no specialization, emphasizing general education, strengthening mathematical and scientific foundations, and enhancing artificial intelligence literacy; students will choose their major at the end of the first year. All majors at the university will be taught in both Chinese and English. As for the fee standards, the enrollment regulations of Ningbo Oriental University of Science and Technology state that the tuition fee is 96,000 yuan per academic year and the accommodation fee is 2,000 yuan per academic year.
