Last week, hundreds of American citizens left Iran.

An internal cable from the US State Department shows that in the past week, hundreds of US citizens have left Iran by land since the outbreak of the air battle between Iran and Israel. The cable states that although many people were able to leave smoothly, "many" American citizens faced "delays and harassment" while trying to leave. One unidentified family reported that two American citizens trying to leave Iran were detained, but no further details were provided.
