Reporters learned from the Hunan Province Hydrology and Water Resources Survey Center that due to continuous rainfall, the inflow of Wuqiangxi Reservoir in Yuanjiang exceeded 20,000 cubic meters per second at 11 o'clock on June 21, reaching the standard for flood numbering. According to the "Regulations on Flood Numbering of Major Rivers and Lakes in Hunan Province," the "No. 1 flood in Yuanjiang in 2025" has occurred. The Hunan Province Hydrology and Water Resources Survey Center has issued a notice reminding relevant units and the public along the river to strengthen prevention and take precautions.
