Ministry of Water Resources and China Meteorological Administration jointly issue orange meteorological warning for mountain flood disasters

On June 21st at 18:00, the Ministry of Water Resources and the China Meteorological Administration jointly issued an orange alert for mountain flood disasters. It is expected that from 20:00 on June 21st to 20:00 on June 22nd, there is a high possibility of mountain flood disasters in some areas of northwestern Zhejiang, southeastern Anhui, western Hunan, southeastern Guizhou, western Yunnan, and western Xinjiang. In particular, there is a high possibility of mountain flood disasters in some areas of northwestern Zhejiang, southeastern Anhui, southwestern Yunnan, and western Xinjiang. Other areas may also experience mountain flood disasters due to short-duration heavy rainfall, so local authorities are advised to enhance real-time monitoring, flood control warnings, and evacuation preparations.
