According to the Zhixing Finance APP, the US highway safety regulatory agency is reviewing the response from Tesla (TSLA.US) regarding the safety of its autonomous driving robotaxi in severe weather conditions. The agency stated on Friday that this action is based on their plan to deploy these vehicles as soon as possible over the weekend. Posts on social media and screenshots of emails indicate that Tesla has invited a small group of people to participate in limited testing scheduled to begin on Sunday in Austin, Texas.
