Recently, due to heavy rainfall, various regions in Guangdong have been affected by floods and waterlogging to varying degrees. In order to implement the deployment of the provincial party committee and provincial government on disaster prevention and relief work, on June 20, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Finance and the Provincial Emergency Management Department urgently allocated 40 million yuan of provincial-level natural disaster relief funds to support emergency rescue and relief for flood-affected areas such as Zhaoqing, Yangjiang, Maoming, Qingyuan, and Yunfu. The funds will be used for purchasing and transporting disaster relief supplies, identifying and remedying secondary disaster hazards, and rebuilding damaged houses, with the primary goal of minimizing the impact of the disasters and ensuring the safety of the affected people's lives and property.
