Eighteen rivers across the country experienced flooding above warning levels.

From 8:00 on June 20th to 8:00 on June 21st, due to rainfall, 18 rivers in the Pearl River Basin, including the Panxiang River and the upper and middle reaches of the Liujiang River, as well as the Sixdong River, a tributary of the Lishui River in the Yangtze River Basin, experienced floods exceeding the warning level. The largest flood exceeded the warning level by 3.60 meters. Among them, three small and medium-sized rivers in the upper reaches of the Liujiang River, including the Duchang River and Longjiang River, experienced floods exceeding the protection level, with the maximum exceeding the protection level by 1.55 meters. The Panxiang River, a tributary of the Hongshui River, experienced the largest flood since the data was recorded in 2005. Currently, the Ministry of Water Resources has maintained a level IV emergency response for flood prevention in nine provinces including Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Guangxi, Chongqing, and Guizhou; four working groups are assisting in guiding flood prevention work in Hubei, Hunan, Anhui, and Guangxi.
