On June 19, 2025, during the Paris Air Show, Pratt & Whitney announced that they have received nearly 1100 confirmed orders and commitments for GTF engines this year. With this, over 90 customers worldwide have ordered a total of approximately 12,000 GTF engines from Pratt & Whitney, to provide power for the Airbus A320 series, A220 series, and Embraer E2 series.
