The SENSEX30 index in India opened down 0.14% at 81334.3 points, with most component stocks falling, with one stock dropping by more than 1%. Among the heavyweight stocks, Infosys Technologies fell by 0.73%, HDFC Bank by 0.34%, Tata Consultancy by 0.33%, Industrial Credit and Investment Corporation of India by 0.25%, and Reliance Industries by 0.14%. On the upside, Bharti Airtel rose by 0.45% and Larsen & Toubro rose by 0.12%.
