Korean media: South Korea and the United States will hold the third round of trade talks next week.
According to South Korean media Daily Economy, citing unnamed sources, South Korea is seeking to hold the third round of technical negotiations with the United States in Washington from June 24 to 26 to discuss tariff issues. This will be the first trade talks between South Korea and the United States since President Lee Jae-myung took office earlier this month. In the second round of talks held last month, the United States requested South Korea to lift restrictions on importing beef from cattle over 30 months old, relax regulations on genetically modified agricultural products, and allow the export of map data requested by Google.
