"2025 Edition of the Guide to Preventing Telecom Network Fraud" Released.
In order to effectively enhance the awareness and ability of the public to prevent fraud in response to the ever-changing and innovative methods of telecommunications network fraud, the Criminal Investigation Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security and the National Anti-Fraud Center have compiled the "2025 Anti-Telecommunications Network Fraud Prevention Publicity Manual" based on the latest trends in telecommunications network fraud cases, which was officially released to the public today. The manual elaborately sorts out 10 types of high-incidence telecommunications network fraud, such as brushing orders for rebates, false online investment and financing, false shopping services, impersonating e-commerce logistics customer service, loan credit, impersonating leaders' acquaintances, impersonating public security and judicial authorities, marriage and dating scams, false transactions of online game products, and ticket refunds and changes. Through detailed analysis of typical cases, each scam tactic is explained and criticized, tailored anti-fraud tips are provided for vulnerable groups to prevent fraud.
