Romoss announced a recall of some power banks.

Shenzhen Romoss Technology Co., Ltd. announced that, in accordance with the "Provisional Regulations on the Management of Consumer Product Recalls," they have reported a recall plan to the Shenzhen Market Supervision Administration. Starting today, they will recall a total of 491,745 units of three Romoss ROMOSS brand mobile power products manufactured between June 5, 2023 and July 31, 2024. The company stated that they will provide consumers who purchased products within the recall range with a free replacement of a brand new mobile power product that is of equal or higher value than the original product and meets safety requirements, or process returns and refunds. The recall is due to the fact that some of the mobile power products may overheat during use due to the use of certain battery core raw materials, which may pose a fire risk in extreme scenarios, posing a safety hazard.
