The U.S. government may further restrict the entry of citizens from 36 countries.

According to a recent report by American media, the U.S. government is considering further expanding the travel ban, possibly prohibiting citizens from an additional 36 countries from entering the United States. The report stated that an internal memorandum from the U.S. State Department indicated that the newly added countries that may face visa bans or other entry restrictions include Egypt, Djibouti, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, and 25 other African countries, as well as several Caribbean countries, and some countries in Asia and the Pacific Islands.
