Israeli airstrikes on Iranian energy infrastructure.
According to Iranian media reports on the 14th, two oil refineries in Bushehr province in southern Iran were attacked by Israeli airstrikes that day, causing some facilities to explode and catch fire. The fire is now under control. According to the Iranian Tasnim News Agency, a unit of the 14th phase project at the South Pars refinery caught fire after the attack, while the remaining units are still operating normally. The natural gas production of this phase project is still ongoing. Another attack occurred at the Fajr Jam refinery. Reports say that the National Gas Company of Iran is conducting further investigations into the incident. The crisis management department official of Bushehr province reportedly said that the fires at the two facilities were brought under control on the evening of the 14th, with no reports of casualties. According to the Israeli newspaper "Israel Hayom", this is the first time Israel has attacked Iran's energy infrastructure, and the first time an Iranian refinery has been attacked since the Iran-Iraq war in the 1980s.
