A sudden collapse of a natural gas pipeline occurred in a place in Lanzhou City, causing damage. Nearby residents have been evacuated.

On June 14th at around 11:20 am, a sudden collapse occurred in a 300 square meter retaining wall and embankment next to the drainage ditch in the middle section of Jiu Zhou Avenue in Chengguan District, Lanzhou City. This caused damage and rupture to the natural gas pipeline in the surrounding area, but no casualties were reported. Following the accident, multiple departments including the housing construction bureau, emergency management bureau, public security bureau, fire department, gas company, and the street office rushed to the scene to carry out emergency response work. Currently, the surrounding residents have been evacuated, the gas main valve has been closed, and a comprehensive inspection of the pipeline network is underway. The cause of the collapse and related response measures are being investigated.
