The Axios news website in the United States cited the latest polling data from Morning Consult on the 2nd, stating that as of the end of May this year, China's net favorability rating was +8.8, while the United States' rating fell to -1.5. The report stated that this poll covered 41 countries including Canada, France, Japan, and Russia, and calculated the difference between the proportion of positive evaluations and negative evaluations of respondents to obtain the results. The Morning Consult report believes that the reputation damage caused by the U.S. government's improper imposition of tariffs has confirmed the global deterioration of favorable views towards the United States.
