The website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the National Supervision Commission reported on May 30 that, according to the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, Li Jianguo, former party secretary and deputy director of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law, and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision investigation by the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision.
