After the adjustment of tariffs between China and the United States, American buyers have increased their stockpiling and the popularity of shipping to the United States has risen. Yantian Port in Shenzhen, which handles more than a quarter of China's exports to the United States, is experiencing an earlier peak season this year, with traditional peak seasons typically occurring in July to September, but starting as early as June and July this year. Several shipping companies have announced plans to increase rates for routes from Asia to the United States, with the highest increase for a 40-foot container being up to $3,000. Industry insiders say that this market trend is a result of a combination of changes in capacity and demand.
