The 5th BEYOND International Science and Technology Innovation Expo (BEYOND Expo 2025) was held from May 21 to 24. At the closing ceremony, Alibaba Group Chairman Tsai Chongxin expressed that Asia has greatly benefited from global free trade, especially economies such as China and Vietnam focused on manufacturing. Recently, some governments have tried to dismantle the bridges we have built between Asia and other regions of the world. Tsai Chongxin stated that the trade volume between China and other Southeast Asian countries is now comparable to that between China and the US. He believes there are many business opportunities that can be explored within Asia. Furthermore, Europe remains a huge opportunity for Asian companies. "When dealing with Asian companies, Europeans have a completely different cultural thought process. Americans tend to think in black and white terms, whereas Europeans can understand subtle differences better. European culture is more ancient and shares some similarities with Asian culture. I believe this is another region that Asian companies can explore," Tsai Chongxin said (Sina Technology).

The 5th BEYOND International Science and Technology Innovation Expo (BEYOND Expo 2025) was held from May 21 to May 24. During the closing ceremony, Alibaba Group Chairman Jack Ma stated that when artificial intelligence is integrated into robots, they will become more intelligent and have more thinking abilities, which is very exciting. However, the practicality of humanoid robots is another issue, as most intelligent robots in the world do not need to look like humans. Jack Ma said, "For example, if you want a robot to clean carpets, kitchens, or living rooms, do you really want it to look like a human? In that case, I might be afraid. I just want something that looks like a vacuum cleaner to intelligently clean the room." (Sina Technology)
