Tsai Chongxin: Most robots do not need to look like humans.

The 5th BEYOND International Science and Technology Innovation Expo was held from May 21st to 24th. At the closing ceremony, Cai Chongxin, Chairman of Alibaba Group, said that when incorporating AI into robots, they will become more intelligent and have more thinking capabilities, which is very exciting. However, the practicality of humanoid robots is another issue, as most intelligent robots in the world do not need to look like humans. Cai Chongxin said, "For example, if you want a robot to clean carpets, clean kitchens or living rooms, do you really want it to look like a human? I might be scared, I just want something that looks like a vacuum cleaner to intelligently clean the room."
