Cathay Pacific Airways: Passenger load factor in January to April increased by 26.6% year on year.

Cathay Pacific Group released the passenger and cargo traffic data for April 2025 on May 20. Cathay Pacific Airlines saw a 36.3% increase in passenger volume in April 2025 compared to the same month in 2024. Available seat kilometers increased by 27.1% annually. In the first four months of 2025, passenger volume increased by 26.6% compared to the same period in 2024. The passenger load factor for Cathay Pacific Airlines exceeded 86.4% in April, reaching a new monthly high for the year. The cargo volume for Cathay Pacific Airlines in April 2025 increased by 13.6% compared to the same month in 2024. Available freight tonne kilometers increased by 8.9% annually, while the load factor decreased by 1.1 percentage points. In the first four months of 2025, cargo volume increased by 12.4% compared to the same period last year. Hong Kong Express carried over 690,000 passengers in April 2025, showing a 47.4% increase in passenger volume compared to the same month in 2024. Available seat kilometers increased by 42%. In the first four months of 2025, passenger volume increased by 37.6% compared to the same period in 2024.
