The maximum temperature is above 37! Shanxi issues an orange high temperature warning.

On May 18, 2025, the Shanxi Provincial Meteorological Bureau issued a high temperature orange warning at 16:27, warning areas including some parts of Yuncheng, Linfen, Jincheng, Changzhi, Jinzhong, Taiyuan, Lvliang, Yangquan, and Xinzhou. In addition, in the northern flatland and most of the central and southern regions, the maximum temperature in the next 24 hours will also reach 35C or above. It is expected that the highest temperature in the warning area in the next 24 hours will rise to above 37C.
