French regulatory agency requires airlines to reduce flights at Orly airport due to system failure.

The French civil aviation regulatory agency stated that, following a malfunction in the air traffic control system at Paris Orly Airport, airlines have been asked to reduce their flight schedules by 40% by the end of Sunday. The French civil aviation authority, in a statement, said that the technical team is working to expedite the repair of the affected system in order to resume normal operations. The civil aviation authority revealed that the malfunction occurred earlier in the afternoon. Orly Airport is the second largest airport in the capital of France and serves as a hub for airlines such as Air France-KLM Group, easyJet, Vueling, and Transavia.
