On Friday, AMD's stock rose 7% to $47.09. On the news front, AMD announced today that it has reached a strategic partnership with DataVolt to initially build a large-scale artificial intelligence campus in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, according to a Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU"). This move aims to drive local digital transformation and technological innovation. The campus will integrate advanced AI technology to attract global businesses and talent to participate. Through this project, Saudi Arabia hopes to further enhance its position in the global technology field. Specific construction timelines and details have not been disclosed. This partnership will require negotiation and completion of one or more final agreements. The estimated minimum market value of the products in the transaction is $20 billion. It is reported that this cooperation will accelerate the delivery of AMD's cutting-edge liquid-cooled GPU platform, storage, and rack PnP systems to DataVolt's large-scale megawatt renewable and net zero green artificial intelligence campus, providing customers with unprecedented scale and sustainability. AMD's advanced liquid cooling solution can reduce power costs by up to 40%, accelerate deployment and online times, and make data centers operate more efficiently with a lower energy usage effectiveness ratio (PUE).
