The meteorological station in Hebei Province continued to issue a yellow warning for strong winds at 6:47 am on May 17, 2025: Due to the influence of cold air, during the day today, there will be northwest winds of 5 to 6 levels, gusts of 7 to 9 levels, and locally up to 10 to 11 levels in areas north of Baoding, Langfang, and the western parts of Shijiazhuang, Xingtai, and Handan; in other areas, there will be northwest winds of 4 to 6 levels, gusts of 7 to 8 levels, and locally up to 9 to 10 levels; there may be blowing sand or dust in some areas; and in the Bohai Sea and coastal areas, there will be northwest winds of 6 to 7 levels, gusts of 8 to 9 levels.
