According to reports, the US Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security has issued a notice, considering the use of Huawei's "Ascend" chip as a violation of US export control regulations, warning of the potential consequences of allowing the use of American artificial intelligence chips to train Chinese AI models. Lin Jian responded to questions by stating that the US is generalizing the concept of national security, abusing export controls and "long-arm jurisdiction," unjustly blocking and suppressing Chinese chip products and AI industries, seriously violating market rules, seriously disrupting the stability of the global supply chain, and seriously harming the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese companies. China firmly opposes this and will not accept it. China urges the US to immediately correct its protectionism and unilateral bullying, and to stop its unfounded suppression of Chinese technology companies and AI industries. China will take resolute measures to safeguard its development rights and the legitimate interests of Chinese companies.
