On that day, with the precise installation of the first double-line box girder measuring 32.6 meters long and weighing 697 tons at the special bridge of the four-line turnout at Dazu Stone Carving Station on the Chengdu-Chongqing Railway, it marked the official entry of the Chengdu-Chongqing section of the Chengdu-Chongqing Railway, built by the China Railway 14th Bureau, into the beam construction phase. The Chengdu-Chongqing Railway is a core part of the "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high-speed rail network along the Yangtze River corridor in China, with a total length of 292 kilometers and a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour. Once completed, the travel time between Chengdu and Chongqing will be shortened to about 50 minutes, and it will be interconnected with more than 10 other routes including the Chengdu-Xi'an High-speed Railway and the Zhengzhou-Chongqing High-speed Railway, promoting the formation of a "" shaped high-speed rail network in the Chengdu-Chongqing region and accelerating the efficient flow of the Chengdu-Chongqing dual-city economic circle.
