China Electricity Council: Seizing the high ground of electricity technology development.

The second Electric Power Industry Technology Innovation Summit, hosted by China Electricity Council, was held in Guangzhou from May 8th to May 9th. Xing Baoan, Chairman of China Electricity Council and President of Global Energy Interconnection Development and Cooperation Organization, stated that the "14th Five-Year Plan" period is a critical period for China to achieve peak carbon emissions and build a new type of power system. Facing new situations and tasks, the electricity industry should uphold the concept of "Great National Vision," adhere to the "Four Orientations," improve the innovation system, focus on problem-oriented, demand-oriented, and goal-oriented approaches, and strive to build a world-leading technological power for China at an early date.
