The Central Meteorological Observatory continues to issue a yellow alert for meteorological drought on May 10th at 18:00. According to real-time meteorological drought monitoring, severe meteorological drought exists in provinces such as Shaanxi and Henan, with extremely dry conditions in southwestern Shaanxi and southwestern Henan. It is expected that in the next 3 days, there will be moderate to heavy rain in eastern Yunnan, western and southern Guangxi, which will further alleviate the meteorological drought in these areas. However, other drought-affected areas will continue to receive little rain, and the meteorological drought will either be maintained or develop further.
