Today, the railway is experiencing a peak in returning passenger flow. According to China National Railway Group, on May 4th, the national railway is expected to send 20.4 million passengers, with plans to add 1818 extra passenger trains. In the Beijing area, it is expected to send 634,000 passengers and receive 758,000 passengers, with plans to add 60 pairs of passenger trains, mainly heading to Shanghai, Wuhan, Shenyang, Jinan, Qingdao, Taiyuan, Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, and Zhangjiakou.
