From April 29th to 30th, the 8th China Digital Construction Summit is being held. Liu Liehong, Secretary of the Party Group of the National Bureau of Statistics and director of the bureau, introduced at the Digital Economy Sub-forum that over the past year, China's digital economy has shown impressive growth momentum. The value added of core industries in the digital economy accounts for about 10% of GDP. Progress has been made in integrated circuits, artificial intelligence, industrial software, and basic software. China's "lighthouse factories" account for over 40% of the global total. These achievements are a vivid reflection of the deep integration of data elements and digital technology, especially artificial intelligence. Liu Liehong stated that looking towards the future, efforts will be made to achieve greater success in the development of China's digital economy. Key areas of focus include: enhancing the core competitiveness of the digital economy, promoting deep integration of the real economy and the digital economy, advancing comprehensive digital transformation of cities, and strengthening international cooperation in the digital economy.
