The 137th Canton Fair has attracted more than 220,000 overseas buyers, setting a new record for the same period.

The 137th China Import and Export Fair closed on April 27th. According to the China Foreign Trade Center, by the 27th, a total of 224,372 overseas buyers from 219 countries and regions had attended the fair, setting a new historical high for the same period. The fair, which opened on April 15th, was divided into three phases with the themes of "Advanced Manufacturing", "Quality Home Furnishings", and "Better Life". The second phase, focusing on "Quality Home Furnishings", had a total exhibition area of 515,000 square meters, 24,735 booths, and 10,313 exhibiting companies, 273 more than the previous edition. More than 2,400 high-quality specialty exhibitors including emerging small giants, manufacturing industry champions, and national high-tech enterprises participated, a 100 increase from the previous edition.
