In the first quarter, the three major indicators of civil aviation transportation all saw growth.

According to the Civil Aviation Administration of China, in the first quarter of 2025, China's civil aviation transportation total turnover, passenger transportation volume, and cargo and mail transportation volume all achieved year-on-year growth. Li Yong, Deputy Director of the Aviation Safety Office of the Civil Aviation Administration, introduced that in terms of production and operation, in the first quarter, the entire industry completed a total turnover of 385.9 billion ton-kilometers, with 190 million passenger trips and 2.243 million tons of cargo and mail transportation volume, representing year-on-year growth of 10.5%, 4.9%, and 11.7% respectively. The average daily utilization rate of aircraft was 9.2 hours, an increase of 0.3 hours year-on-year.
