According to the news from Qinghai Company of State Energy Group on April 25th, the first batch of wind turbines of the 1 million kilowatt wind-solar complementary project in Dachaidan were successfully integrated into the 110 kV substation, marking the first grid-connected power generation of the highest-altitude and largest-capacity wind-solar complementary project under construction in China. The Dachaidan 1 million kilowatt wind-solar storage project is located in Xitieshan Town, Dachaidan Administrative Committee, Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, including a 300,000 kilowatt wind power project and a 700,000 kilowatt photovoltaic project. It is estimated that after the project's full capacity is connected to the grid, the annual electricity generation will exceed 2.1 billion kilowatt-hours, equivalent to saving 700,000 tons of standard coal and reducing CO2 emissions by 1.93 million tons.
